At Eucalypso, we are huge proponents of transparency. We believe it's important for you to understand where your products come from and why we place so much focus on sustainability.
Eucalypso bedding is produced in an environmentally responsible, closed loop production process, which transforms wood pulp into fibers. This process encourages high resource efficiency and low environmental impact by recycling water and reusing the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%.
That's right, 99% of all water and solvent are reused and recycled. 99%!
We also use less water and more harsh chemicals in our production process, unlike cotton and bamboo. For comparison, while other fabrics use a variety of toxic solvent so strip down the fibers, we only use 1 organic solvent (yes, just 1). And for 1/10 of the water it takes to grow and make cotton sheets, we make 10x more eucalyptus sheets.
