They say to leave bad habits in the last year. Well… Let’s also leave behind unfriendly bed sheets. Read on to see how Eucalypso sheets can help you achieve a fresh start in 2022.

Our 2022 Predictions

This year is all about starting fresh. For 2022, self care and healthy habits are at the top of our agenda, and we don’t mean a simple reboot of your skincare routine or increasing your consumption of superfoods like kale. 2022 is the year to focus on sleep and wellness. Sleep quality is so important to healthy living. However, we often find sleep to be elusive–whether that be to meeting deadlines, scrolling through social media, or general restlessness.

We’ve collectively lived nearly two years through the COVID pandemic, and if you’re anything like us at Eucalypso, you might be itching to go reclaim missed moments. We’re not sure what this year will hold, but we do know that we spend nearly ⅓ of our days sleeping, and so we’re hoping to at least make those moments as best they can be. On that note, keep reading, and you might just realize how Eucalypso sheets can make your new year better than the last.

If you’re new here, the idea of "eucalyptus" sheets might seem foreign, but it’s never too late to make introductions. Eucalypso sheets, specifically, are made with premium 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell fibers from sustainable wood sources including eucalyptus wood pulp. TENCEL™ is a much healthier fabric alternative to linen, bamboo, and cotton. In particular, our TENCEL™ sheets are more breathable and more moisture wicking than the run-of-the-mill cotton sheet set. This makes our sheets especially worth switching over to if you are a hot sleeper or experience hot flashes.

And if you’re worried about discovering a newfound allergy to eucalyptus, Eucalypso sheets are perfectly allergy free for you, a cat, or even a baby. In fact, we are actually better for allergy-prone individuals because our sheets are hypoallergenic. We are also antibacterial and antifungal which coupled with all our other qualities, make us the holy grail of skincare–protecting you against acne and bacne.

On Healthy Habits

As much as we wish, our sheets are not magical. So just because you climb into a well-outfitted bed, doesn’t mean you’ll magically fall asleep for eight hours. Luckily, all you really need to do to make this a reality is practice a few healthy habits, and you and your sheets will make the perfect combo for a good night’s rest.

Eucalypso will prevent the tossing and turning that comes with hot flashes and changes in body temperature through the night, you just have to remember to sleep early enough so that your alarm doesn’t ring until at least eight hours later. That means cut down on the late night tiktok scrolling or tv-show binging, and save all that screen time for the next morning. You’ll also want to avoid caffeine, alcohol, or any large meals before bed to avoid restlessness. You want to give your body the time it needs to wind down, or you may face the consequences when lying awake in the middle of the night.

Another Sustainable Year

Breaking news! Cotton is a thirsty crop! Do not give cotton a second chance!

Cotton is one of the most unsustainable fabrics on the market as it takes nearly 10,000 liters of water to produce a kilogram of cotton fabric. Cotton also needs more pesticides and insecticides than any other crop, and is processed with non-recyclable toxic solvents and chemicals that end up released into our environment.

It’s sad news, knowing that the fabric we grew up loving is actually two-faced.

But before you shed a tear, know that Eucalypso TENCEL™ sheets are made in a 100% closed-loop process that recycles 99% of the water and organic solvent used to turn wood pulp into eucalyptus fibers. We are eco-friendly and very conscious of our environmental footprint. So if you’re looking for another way to be sustainable in 2022, and squeeze in some extra self care, come to us because our sheets are the most sustainable on the market.

Be Part of an Impact

Join the Eucalypso family for another year of giving–back to our communities and back to mother nature.

In 2021, we: saved 6,270,000 days of drinking water, reduced 329,000 miles of emissions, had 3 million square feet of land without pesticides, and donated a portion of our profits every month to charities: from environmental and sustainability funds to health and social justice funds. We do what we do to help people feel better rested amidst the backdrop of a busy world, and to promote widespread, positive global impact.

Maybe you can't just start fresh in 2022 with a blank slate, but you can always count on Eucalypso to help you start each morning feeling fresh.

We hope to see you more in 2022!
